Come join me for a fun and relaxing morning, sewing yourself the perfect Santa Cruz summer dress- the Stasia Dress by the incredibly talented designer Sew Liberated.
The Stasia Dress feels like wearing secret pajamas, and I will even teach you how to put pockets in. Who doesn’t want pockets in their dresses? It isincredibly flattering on all body types and can be sewn in sizes 0-24. The Stasia's secret is a v-front bodice, which highlights the smallest part of the waist and provides plenty of room below for beautiful bellies (Or as the designer likes to call hers, the empty baby house!) Wearing your Stasia Dress, your belly and hips will be free to hike, dance, and do all sorts of wonderful activities while still feeling like a million bucks. Be sure to check out #stasiadress on Instagram to see lots of beautiful examples of how cute and versatile this pattern is.
When you arrive for our mama’s morning of sewing, I will have your pattern ready to cut out, your chosen fabric prewashed, and sewing machines and all notions, tools and supplies ready for you. We will also be enjoying yummy brunch snacks and mimosas as we sew, take some time for ourselves, and have fun with new friends.
This workshop is limited to 6 students so that I can give you all the help and attention you deserve. To enjoy this workshop you should have some previous experience sewing. If you know how to thread a machine, sew a straight line and wind a bobbin, this class is perfect for you!
While sewing your one of a kind, perfect, want to wear it every day dress you will learn how to sew knit fabric, how to do minor alterations to patterns to improve fit, to set it sleeves and add pockets to anything you sew.
The class will run from 10am-1:30pm (approximately, it may run long, but I do not anticipate that happening).
To sign up, simply choose your fabric, add to cart and check out! I will send you a follow up email with my address and more details about the amazing morning we will spend together. If you have any questions at any time, please send me an email at firstname.lastname@example.org and I would be happy to help answer them.
