Friends!      I am so excited about this plan and can not wait for this evening together!  I have been planning it in my head for weeks, and have brought some others of you in for thinking through details in the last few days, but today I am ready to share the news with all of you! Virtual Frocktail is happening! Earth Day From Home!

    These days, pretty much everything is canceled.  Things that only come once a year. Things people have been looking forward to.  Things people have been working towards.      Earth Day is one of my favorite days every year.  It has been since I was a little kid.  I was lucky enough to have awesome parents and teachers, who taught me from a young age that I have the power and the responsibility to help care for our Earth.  Earth Day is a remembrance of both that power and that responsibility, and is a pretty good excuse for fun activities that we don’t usually fit into our days. 2019! What a year it was! And 2020! What a year it will be!

Just like all of you, I’m sure, I’m spending this week between Christmas and New Years (and apparently the week after that and after that and after that, because here it is, January 18th already, and I haven’t finished this yet) thinking about the year behind and the year ahead.  All the great adventures had and growth and adventures still to come and growth I want to work towards. And sorry that we are all probably over reading about this sort of thing by now, January has been a wild month in my house, with 2 or my 3 kids birthdays and a decision to repaint the entire inside! Plant Based Dyes with Whitney
